Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has revealed that he disliked recruiting women as secretary.
Adeboye made his aversion known in a recent sermon he delivered, which video has gone viral.
The 83-year-old explained that he noticed that he worked late into the night, hinting that having a female secretary around him may give birth to temptation.
“From the moment I got to a stage where, at night, I still have to work, I ceased to have a female secretary. Some people think it is gender discrimination.
“I know who I was before Jesus saved my soul. I know the possibility of dangers being left alone at night with people of the opposite sex,” he said.
