Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has been arrested for multiple murder and arson.
Doguwa is linked with the killing lof several persons and burning of the secretariat of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) during the just concluded poll.
In the politically-motivated rampage at least three persons have been confirmed killed, with the campaign secretariat of the NNPP in Tudunwada also set ablaze by the hired hoodlums.
Two of the victims were burnt to death in the crisis that broke out during the collation of the results of Doguwa/Tudunwada House of Representatives election, which Doguwa was eventually declared to have won.
The Federal lawmaker was picked up at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport while about boarding a flight to Abuja yesterday.

The pistol of his Police orderly was equally said to be of service to him, with accusation flying around that he fired some gunshots.
Earlier, Doguwa had in a press briefing with journalists, said he has been falsely accused and tried to clear his name.
“I never held a gun. I don’t even know how to hold a gun. I also never held any weapon throughout the election,” he said.
