Victims of sex-for-grades in University of Benin are to name and shame the institution’s lecturers embroiled in the unwholesome practice via a petition to the authorities.

According to The Nation, leading the charge is an alumni of the school,   Mr. Aoiri Obaigbo, a graduate of English and Literary Studies.

The report quoted Obaigbo, the convener of the petition drive, as saying that the motivation was to unmask some lecturers in the English department notorious for sexually harassing students.

“Investigate inter-generational allegations of sexual harassment of female students by male lecturers at the Department of English and Literature, University of Benin,” he was quoted to have said.
