Former Nigerian boxer and olympian, Jeremiah Okorodudu, is appealing to members of the public for financial assistance to help treat himself for an undisclosed ailment.
Okorodudu represented Nigeria in the 1984 Summer Olympics in the middleweight category and during his carer was known for his signature Jerry curl hair.
The 64-year-old is unwell, with a video of him in a bedridden state seeking assistance in order to regain his health trending.
“My fellow Nigerians, my name is Jerry Okorodudu. I was a Nigerian boxer, I am very sick and in the hospital. I need your help, please. Help me, I cannot walk,” the former assistant national boxing coach and Commonwealth bronze medalist said.
