Skit maker, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, better known as Trinity Guy, has landed in Police trouble.
Oyo State Police Command invited Trinity for questioning over a skit purportedly dangerous and in respect of a female minor.
Reacting to the viral video of the said skit, the police said, in a tweet via its handle: “Popular content creator, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, AKA Trinity, has been contacted and invited to the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the disturbing viral skit content making the rounds across the Social Media space concerning a female minor. Updates would be provided soon.”
Of late, skit managers into pranks have attracted warnings from the police against acts capable of causing harm to those they prank, with Eyinatayo Iluyomade, a 19-year-old Lagos-based comedian arrested and charged to court for an expensive joke in August 2022.
