The report that surfaced online, alleging Governor Charles Soludo, President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his son, Seyi, of contrivance to kill defeated Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, has drawn the reaction of the Anambra State governor.

The uncomfortable report in circulation, said Soludo, Tinubu and Seyi met at Imo State Government House at Owerri to hatch the murder plan against Obi.

It stated further, that the Anambra State governor got $5m for the job, adding that on execution the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB would be blamed for it, for concealment of facts.

Recall that the former CBN governor incurred the displeasure of Obidients in the build-up to February 27 poll following his anti-Obi’s comments.

Reacting to the present report, Soludo said the scandal could not stand the test of reasoning in a statement his spokesperson, Christian Aburime released on Monday.

It reads in part, “If certain people could sit somewhere and cook up a story of this nature, it becomes highly reprehensible and certainly deserved to be condemned by every right-thinking person.

“Ndi Anambra should also disregard all the insinuations in the write-up as mere falsehoods. They should come out massively and vote APGA (candidates) this Saturday for the State House of Assembly election.”
