An undergraduate with Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, John Gambo, has hacked his fellow-student, Ibrahim Matthew, to death.
Gambo is an ND2 Banking and Finance student, while his victim was a part-time ND2 Computer Science student.
The two were said to be tenants to one Madam Mercy-Bassey, who made report of the murder to the police.
SP Ramhan Nansel, the Command’s public relations made this known via a statement he released.
In it, Nansel said, the guys had an altercation which climaxed with murder, after Gambo attacked Matthew with knife and axe.
The attack, it was said, led to the death of the Computer Science student as he died from injuries he sustained.
The spokesman added that Gambo is under arrest and would have his days in court.
