A student of Madonna University simply identified as Destiny Ogbantu has killed his neighbour, one Onyebuchi Ernest(pictured).
The killer and his victim are residents of Officers’ Barracks of the Warri Area Command of the Nigeria Police in Delta State.
Destiny whose father is a serving Inspector perpetrated the heinous crime in the evening of Friday, September 22, 2023 within the vicinity of their Block D apartments.
It followed a resentment during which the killer was chasing Ernest with a knife, and later caught up with him in a gutter he fell into and stabbed the victim to death.
The killer student subsequently fled the barracks and has become a subject of manhunt launched for him by the police.
However, the police have picked up his Inspector father.
