Super Eagles’ fringe player, Ibrahim Alhassan. has joined Austrian Bundesliga club Austria Wien on a season-long loan deal.

Ibrahim was a member of the Home-based Super Eagles that qualified African Nations Championships (CHAN) scheduled for January, 2018 in Kenya after beating Benin Republic. He was on the list of the seven players on standby for Nigeria’s squad for next week’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Cameroon,
The midfielder, who is on the books of Akwa United, on Friday joined Austria Wien with an option of a two-year deal if he impresses during his loan spell.
He replaced his compatriot Kayode Olanrewaju, who joined Manchester City on a four-year deal, and has been loaned out to Spanish LaLiga newcomers Girona from the Austrian Bundesliga side.
