TB JOSHUA IN POLICE TROUBLE OVER FAKE MIRACLE

Leader and Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua is in trouble with the police for performing a fake bomb miracle.

Joshua, few days back ‘performed a miracle’, according to him, he caught a suicide bomber with a bomb in the middle of a church service, and invited cops from Ikotun Police Station to the scene of the incident.

A stone throw to Synagogue, policemen attached to Ikotun Police Station over the years have always pandered to TB Joshua’s whims to the point that the immediate past DPO, CSP Haruna Alaba, was redeployed by the authority following his roles in the Synagogue building saga.

After 10 months of sitting, the Lagos Coroner’s Inquest into the collapse of a six-storey building belonging to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) that killed 116 people recommended the prosecution of the church and Alaba’s redeployment.

Lagos coroner, Mr. Oyetade Komolafe while announcing his verdict explained that Alaba should be replaced immediately because he had become too compromised to lead a credible investigation.

OrijoReporter reliably gathered that when the church guesthouse collapsed on September 12, 2014, and killed 85 South Africans, 22 Nigerians, two Beninoise, one Togolese and six unidentified persons, Prophet TB Joshua immediately reached out to Alaba, and they worked out a plan on how to blame the building collapse on an aircraft that flew over Ikotun moment before the incident.

It was said that Alaba gave Prophet Joshua six of his officers and after each received N200,000(Two Hundred Thousand Naira), they wrote statements, attributing the cause of the building collapse to an aircraft that “hovered above the church”.

But two of the six policemen later backed out of the deal when it dawned on them that the aircraft that flew over Ikotun moment before the building collapse is that of the Nigerian Air force.

If that was in the past, what is fresh and hot is that recently Prophet Joshua carried out a plot to give the impression that Synagogue is being targeted for bombing raids, and to justify the church’s argument that an aircraft is responsible for the guesthouse collapse and not structural failure as said by the coroner.

The controversial man-of-God claimed he miraculously saved his church from another disaster during a church service after he caught a man with a bomb inside the church. He reported the matter at Ikotun Police Station and the new DPO, Felix Agwu, who assumed office less than a month ago transferred the case to Area M Command in Idimu.

It is pertinent to reveal that TB Joshua’s influence in the police force transcends Ikotun Police Station.

Area Commander, Joseph Eriboh, who may have benefited from the scheme approached the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni with it.
But the idea that an attempt was made to bomb Synagogue did not fly with CP Owoseni after he saw no evidence of the purported bomb scare except an obsolete grenade owned by the Nigerian Army.

TB Joshua’s failure to produce the suspect if any, infuriated the police commissioner. Owoseni was equally furious with Eriboh for bringing such case before him.

Efforts made by OrijoReporter to get Prophet TB Joshua’s side on the fake bomb miracle were futile as several phone calls and text messages sent to his mobiles, 08102417798, 08077776688 and 08034632765 were not responded to.
