A suspected armed robber has met his death in the line of duty in Lagos.
The deceased had gone to Olugboso in Agege area on August 20 in the middle of the night to operate in one Victor’s apartment.
Report said, he was having a field day with Victor’s valuables when the victim discovered the gun he was flaunting is fake and pounced on him.
A melee ensued during which the unwanted visitor drew out a scissor with him and stabbed Victor indiscriminately.
It was learnt that the sound of the struggle attracted the attention of some co-tenants who rushed to the scene and fought on the side of their colleague.
The latter was rushed to the hospital with dispatch while the armed robber was beaten to death.
