The National Progressive Councilors’ Forum (NPCF) has revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son, Seyi, is their “principal.”
The body of councilors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress made this known in a statement where they entreated Tinubu to appoint one of them Hon. Muslihu Yusuf Ali as Minister of Youths.
Recall that Ali representing Gurin Gawa Ward in Kano made the news for appointing 18 advisers.
NPCF in the said statement signed by its National Secretary, Hon. Abayomi Kazeem, the councilor for Mafoluku Ward, Oshodi, Lagos, said since a new minister is yet to be designated for the ministry, it makes sense to appoint Ali.
It reads in part, “Moreover, the patriotic young man of 36 who is currently a chief whip at Kumbotso LG Council, Kano State, and serving the good people of Guringawa Ward, is a party loyalist and Tinubu’s die-hard supporter.
“Ali also registered the forum with the Youth Directorate of PCC under mentorship and the directive made by our principal, Mr Seyi Tinubu, after believing that 99 percent of councilors are youths.”
