The saying, “misfortune never come singly” has held true in Alimoso General Hospital, Lagos, has three senior doctors died in the space of 120 hours.

It gave the names of the deceased as: Otukoya, Aluko and Shuaib, saying they were all Principal Medical Officer.
Shuaibu, it stated died on Monday, 25 September, 2023.
The multiple losses, the report added, has raised spleen of doctors in the employ of the state government.
Under the umbrella of the state chapter of the Medical Guild, an association of Lagos State Government-employed medical and dental practitioners, the doctors have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the state government to address their welfare.
