Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, says President Bola Tinubu is arrogant.
Lawal alleged this while speaking on Channels Television on Monday: “When you become president, it doesn’t change who you are.
“But with him, there is an arrogance that blinds his definition as a human being. Age or money cannot be used to suppress my truth,” Lawal who was sacked as SGF during late Muhammadu Buhari’s time as President for alleged fraud bordering on grass cutting at Internally Displaced Persons camp declared.
The ex-SGF used to have a cordial relationship with Tinubu until the latter’s failure to pick him as his running mate ahead of the 2023 Presidential election caused a breakdown in rapport between them.
He said of their face-off: “If we fight, we finish the fight and I move on. I don’t override my principles just because someone wants to ride on my back.”
