The viral video announcing that the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu is slated to marry a second wife this coming Saturday, has prompted his reaction.
A 45-second video clip inviting the public to a Nikkah ceremony (Muslim wedding) between one Katsina-born Khadija Abubakar Bawa Wagini and Tinubu on February 18 at Katsina Central Mosque, with Gov. Aminu Masari among the dignitaries to grace the occasion is spreading through the net.
By the sound of the announcer’s voice, she is a female.
The clip has drawn the reaction of the former Lagos governor through the Chief Spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo.
Keyamo in an interview he granted Punchng denied anything of such, claiming the video is the handiwork of the opposition People’s Democratic Party aimed at discouraging Christian voters from supporting the APC flag-bearer.
“It is obviously one of those infantile propaganda from the opposition. They are just desperately targeting the Christian votes that his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is bringing to the ticket and they know she is a pastor. This is why they are bringing up the propaganda of Asiwaju marrying a Muslim wife from Katsina who would now be the First Lady,” the minister of state for Labour told the paper.
