One student writing the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, has been killed by a moving truck while another suffered injuries.

The sad occurence happened to two female students of Seico Secondary School, on Friday at Ikangba area of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

The students whose identities this medium was unable to get while writing this report were among a group of female students returning home after finishing their examination for the day.

In the course sources said, the misfortune-causing truck which was coming from the Molipa end of the road rammed into them along the newly rehabilitated Ikangba/Agoro Road.

It killed one of them while another was critically injured.

In the account of eyewitnesses in general circulation, it was said that the truck suddenly veered off its lane, and hit the students before crashing into the fence of a nearby Redeemed Christian Church of God parish.

As of press time efforts made by this medium to get any information on the truck driver, particularly whether he has been arrested were in vain.
