Two persons have been killed in Kogi at the yet to be concluded governorship election in the State.
The deceased whose identities are yet to be made public were killed on Saturday.
They met their end at the hands of eagle-eyed soldiers who shot them while trying to snatch ballot boxes in Anyigba and Ankpa both in Kogi East Senatorial District, according to report in general circulation.
The incident is the high-point of the crisis that rocked the election with that of Ganaja village near Lokoja, in which voters chased away some men who rode in sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and attempted to snatch ballot boxes in their polling units, videoed and has gone viral.
