The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has cancelled the 2021 U-17 African Cup of Nations billed to kick-off on Friday in Rabat, Morocco, amid COVID-19 rocking the host.
The cancellation follows Morocco’s suspension of flights from eighteen countries including Egypt and Algeria into the country in a bid to stem the growing tide of pandemic in the Arab West.
The Golden Eaglet was billed to fly out of Nigeria on Tuesday for the competition before the cancellation.
