A final year student of University of Benin, Edo, Desmond Oghenerukevwe, better known as Mayor has been killed.
Mayor was murdered in cold blood on Monday night in one of the school’s hostels by gunmen who shot him in the face.
The killing of the late Public Administration student who was the school Kegite chief has been attributed to cultism in some quarters.
A thread on his murder on Facebook elicited comments in that regard from persons believed to have familiarity with cultism in UNIBEN.
