A lecturer with University of Lagos, Unilag, Dr Kadiri Babalola is facing allegation of raping a 20-year old Student.
Babalola, according to report, allegedly had carnal knowledge of his victim on August 16, 2023 when she approached him to check her result.
Miffed by the incident, and in seeking justice, the undergraduate approached a non-governmental organisation, Inclusive Social Welfare and Empowerment Foundation to lodge complaint.
The latter in turn invited the police into the matter leading to the lecturer’s arrest.
He is billed to have his days in court as per the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin,
“He is to appear in court in the coming days,” Hundeyin said.
