The moment President Muhammadu Buhari is rumoured to have been attacked while in Kebbi State on an official visit captured on video has drawn the response of the presidency.
The trending video shows a man struggling with security officials about the time Buhari was about taking a group picture with other dignitaries and farmers in Kebbi.

The spectacle was viewed in some quarters as an attempt to attack the President while it could equally be seen as only an effort to photobomb.
The presidency has however dispelled the impression that the man was out to attack Buhari saying such view smacked of misrepresentation of fact, according to a statement Femi Adesina, released.
Adesina said as Buhari went round the arena to inspect rice pyramids on display and take photographs with farmers, a young man was very excited to see his president so close.
“He made an attempt to get to him. World over, such would not be allowed by security details. The young man was prevented, and he protested that he should be allowed to greet his President.
“Now, professional contortionists are making mischief of the event. They are passing the video clip off on social media as an attempt to attack the President.
“Malicious people always twist things to give a negative narrative. But they simply dash their heads against the wall. The country moves on,” the statement reads in part.
