Embattled Chelsea striker, Diego Costa, has spoken of his desire to join Athletico Madrid this summer.
The Brazilian-born but Spanish International, who is at loggerheads with Chelsea’s coach, Antonio Conte, told Daily Mail at his home in Lagarto, Brazil, that he was being treated like a criminal by the coach and the premiership side.

However, the 28-year-old said he was undaunted saying: “I am open to being a year in Brazil without playing, even if Chelsea fine me for a year and don’t pay me.
I’ll come back stronger.”
He added: “I want the deal with Atletico resolved this month. My idea would be to go to Madrid, train there, get in the best physical shape and be ready to fire ahead of the World Cup.”
