Super Falcons players have not been paid the $100,000 President Bola Tinubu promised each player for winning the WAFCON tournament.

The team’s captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, made this known while appearing on the forthcoming episode of ‘With Chude’ hosted by popular on-air personality, Chude Jideonwo.

Ajibade said the money and the houses the President promised each player are yet to be given to them alongside allowances and bonuses.

“We have not received our money oo. Please, they have not paid. All the promises you heard back and forth, we have not received anything,” she declared, before adding: “People are begging. We have not received it. When they pay it, you will see. Even our match bonuses and everything… everything is still a work in progress.”

The Atletico Madrid Feminino player also revealed her humble background saying she grew up in a compound where 100 people resided and once had to wash bathrooms and toilets in order to make money.

“I grew up in a compound of almost 100 people in Mushin area of Lagos and had to wash people’s toilets and bathrooms for money,” the 24-year-old narrated.
