The Professional Statisticians’ Society of Nigeria, said its induction of Dr. Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the eldest daughter of President Bola Tinubu, as an Associate Member followed her contribution to promoting the adoption and use of statistical data for national growth and development.
PSSN President, Professor Waheed Yahya argued this at the 8th International Conference of association held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi on Friday, while performing the first daughter’s induction.
“Dr Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo advocated and championed the interests and well-being of women marketers in the country which brought unquantifiable happiness to hardworking entrepreneurial women.
“Her love for humanity and support for the vulnerable, recently propelled her to enrol over 10,000 children of common traders and less privileged Nigerians into different tertiary institutions across the country on scholarship to eliminate disparity among the children of the rich and the downtrodden,” Yahya said.
