One Mary Habbila has reportedly died at the country home of Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
This is according to SaharaReporters that reported that Mary Habbila, who is said to be a young woman died mysteriously.
The report said that the incident occurred on June 27, 2026, barely a day after late Habbila and another woman identified as Anita Baski, both from Kaduna State, were reportedly brought to the minister’s residence to attend to him.
It added that the incident is allegedly shrouded in secrecy, with both the Ebonyi State Government and the state police command maintaining radio silence over the matter.
“Habbila was found dead inside the residence the following morning she arrived under circumstances investigators are still trying to establish,” the publication wrote.
