A woman, simply identified as Madam Success, has been remanded in Anambra State for luring four university female students into prostitution in her state.
The victims are between ages, 13 and 15.
Madam Success was arraigned before the Children, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Magistrate Court in Awka, where she was denied bail and also remanded on Friday.
The accused is standing trial for luring four female students from Akwa Ibom State to Agbor in Delta State under the pretense of getting them employment as sales girl.
On the contrary, she lodged them in brothel(s) where each of them sleeps with a minimum of five men in a day before the Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Children’s Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo, came to their rescue in Onitsha, and the long arm of the law caught up with her.
Obinabo said, acting on a tip-off alongside the police, they rescued the girls at a motor park in Onitsha enroute Delta State while their trafficker was arrested.
