One Joy Ikoja is facing prosecution in Ekiti over allegation that she caused damage to the manhood of his boyfriend, Ibrahim Usman.
Ikoja was on Tuesday brought before an Ekiti Magistrate’s Court by the police for unlovingly tearing her boyfriend’s scrotal sack in a fit of anger.
The Magistrate, Mr Olatomiwa Daramola, heard from the prosecutor, Inspector Adeboye Adesegun, that the defendant committed the offence at about 8p.m on April 12 at Irona area of Ado-Ekiti.
Adesegun said that the 20-year-old inflicted wound on one Ibrahim Usman by tearing his scrotal sac.
The savage action, the officer said, is punishable under sections 186, 255 256(a) and 181(d) of Criminal Laws of Ekiti State of Nigeria 2021.
Conclusively, Daramola, in his ruling, refused bail to the defendant and ordered that she should be remanded at the Correctional custody in Ado Ekiti.
The magistrate also adjourned the case till April 22 for a hearing.
