A woman who was sexually abused by her biological father and bore a baby boy for him has stabbed the baby to death in Ogun State.
The suspect, Funmilayo Adeyanju chose May 27 Children’s Day to hack her 3-year-old son, Emmanuel to death at Ogunso, Otta in Ado-Odo/Otta Local Government Area of Ogun State where she lives.
Emmanuel was a product of rape incest and his mom who had grown tired of seeing him around her was said to have held him down and stabbed him severally with a kitchen knife, insiders said.
According to police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, policemen from Ota Division have arrested Funmilayo and Emmanuel’s remains have been evacuated to the mortuary.
Adejobi said: “The police have recovered the boy’s body. The woman has been acting strangely. The police would carry out proper investigation. We’ll have to seek the help of an expert to know her mental state.”
