One Hajiya Aishatu y’an Guru Nahuce is in the news for good reason.
Aishatu, a pilgrim at the just-concluded pilgrimage to Muslims’ holy land, Mecca, found a missing $80,000, approximately N56m and didn’t appropriate it to herself.
Instead, the pilgrim who hails from Zamfara handed it over to the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency Officials who in turn, gave it to the owner.
Her honest act hit the headlines through a tweet by Hajj Reporters via its twitter handle.
“This Nigerian pilgrim Hajiya Aishatu y’an Guru Nahuce From Bungudu LGA Of Zamfara State Found $80,000 (N56,000,000) And Handed It Over To The Zamfara Pilgrims Welfare Agency Official for onward return to the owner.
“May Almighty Allahaccept her Hajj. Ameen,” the news medium tweeted.
