It all started when the Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu said the person, who blew the whistle on the loot had become a millionaire overnight, and the lawyer to the whistleblower, Yakubu Galadima countered him, saying his client has not been paid.

At a point it was said by the EFCC that the whistleblower who was then not named was developing signs of madness.

But following latest development, the identities of those who claimed to blow the whistle on the money, have been revealed as more people claimed they were involved in it.

According to Lawyer Galadima, three persons squealed to the EFCC on the loot stashed away in the Osborne Flat. He gave their names as Sunday Stephen and Bala Usman. Galadima, however, failed to disclose the last person’s name.

He disclosed that Sunday and a person he told about the hidden loot had come to blow at Obalende area after the latter wanted them to conduct a robbery operation and steal the money.

It was gathered that at least nine persons have approached the EFCC claiming to be involved in blowing the whistle on the money and asking for their share of the 5 percent reward.
