On Friday one of the eighth living children of President Muhammadu Buhari, Zahra Buhari, marked her 21st birthday, a day after the president celebrated his 73rd birthday in a low-key.
On Thursday in celebration of President Buhari’s birthday the Presidential Villa witnessed a short military parade before the president left for the international Press Conference for the 40th summit of the Economic Community of West African States which started in Abuja on Wednesday.
Not few of his aides, among them his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, and the Permanent Secretary, State House, Jalal Arabi were also at the Villa to present him giant birthday card that has the seal of the president and his portrait on the cover with the inscription
‘Happy Birthday’ boldly written on the card.
On her 21st birthday on Friday, Zahra Buhari, a medical microbiology student of University of Surrey, England, who was made an ambassador of a non-profit organisation, ACE Charity, after her father became president, and recently commissioned a library for the camp operates by the NGO, received several birthday cards from the less privileged children trained at the camp.
