Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike and his Fenerbache teammates on Tuesday were involved in a near air mishap why travelling by air from Turkey to London ahead of Thursday’s Europa League game against Manchester United.

Reports said while players and officials of the team were on board, the plane was hit by bird strike leaving the aircraft with a cracked windscreen.
It was reported that the pilot had to make an emergency landing in Budapest where a second plane was then sent from Istanbul to pick the team up from the Hungarian capital and continue the journey to Manchester.
Fenerbahce are top of Group A with four points while Manchester United are third.
