The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture has sealed not less than six event centres and night clubs around Ikeja, the Lagos State capital.

The clampdown on firms in tourism and hospitality industry with a record of non-compliance with the statutory process of registration and payment of annual permits began on Wednesday.
Head of Hotel Licensing Directorate, Ms Barbara Wey led the Ministry officials to seal three event centres at Oregun namely,10 Degrees Event Center on Billingsway, Balmoral and Yard 158 party halls situated at Kudirat Abiola Way.
Others that were sealed were Cave and Vegas night clubs in Ikeja.
