British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer, Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, had undergone five penis enlargement injections at a Bangkok clinic before the procedure that preceded his death, Thai health authorities have revealed.
Ubiribo, 43, also known as “Denisi” and “Ego”, died in the early hours of March 6, 2026, after suffering a fatal pulmonary embolism shortly after receiving a penile filler injection in Thailand.
Fresh details from the Thai investigation have now revealed that the March procedure was not his first.
According to Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support, the clinic told investigators that Ubiribo had been a regular patient since 2024 and had undergone five separate penile enlargement procedures.
The first four were reportedly carried out between 2024 and 2025, while the fifth and final procedure took place on March 5, 2026 — just hours before his death.
The revelation came after Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health ordered an investigation into the clinic following Ubiribo’s death.
Fatal final injection
The latest procedure involved approximately 40 millilitres of filler containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine being injected into Ubiribo’s penis.
Thai authorities said the doctor had recommended that the 40cc treatment be divided into two sessions, but Ubiribo preferred to have it done at once.
He was reportedly given post-procedure instructions and signed consent forms before the treatment.
There was no immediate indication from the clinic that he experienced complications immediately after leaving.
But hours later, the businessman’s holiday with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, turned into a nightmare.
The couple reportedly went for a massage after the procedure. During the massage, Ubiribo complained of chest pain and collapsed.
He regained consciousness briefly before collapsing again.
An ambulance rushed him to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism and prepared to conduct a CT scan to determine what was happening.
But Ubiribo lost consciousness and went into cardiac arrest before the scan could be completed.
Doctors reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead in the early hours of March 6.
Filler found in his lungs
A subsequent post-mortem examination in the United Kingdom provided a grim clue.
Evidence presented at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court showed that material consistent with the hyaluronic acid used in the penile filler was found in Ubiribo’s lungs.
UK Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently concluded that the cosmetic procedure had caused the fatal pulmonary embolism.
A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood vessel supplying the lungs becomes blocked. In Ubiribo’s case, the inquest heard that filler material had entered his circulation and travelled to his lungs.
Thai authorities probe clinic
Following the death, Thailand’s Minister of Public Health ordered the Department of Health Service Support and the Food and Drug Administration to investigate the clinic.
Officials inspected the facility on September 7 as part of efforts to establish whether the clinic and medical personnel complied with professional and regulatory requirements.
The authorities have stressed that the investigation is still ongoing and that no finding of professional malpractice has been announced against the clinic.
The case is expected to be referred to Thailand’s Medical Council for consideration of whether the medical professionals involved complied with the required standards.
Warning over “non-surgical” enlargement
Ubiribo’s death has also reignited concerns about injectable penis enlargement procedures.
Medical experts have warned that describing such treatments as “non-surgical” should not be mistaken for “risk-free”.
Penile fillers are designed mainly to increase girth rather than length and involve injecting material into an area containing numerous blood vessels. Reported complications can include infection, tissue damage, vascular blockage and, in rare cases, potentially fatal embolic events.
Ubiribo, who had about 185,000 Instagram followers, was known for documenting his luxury lifestyle online and was a friend of Afrobeats star Davido. He was married to fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen.
His death shocked followers and friends, with reports stating that he was buried in London in May following an elaborate funeral.
What began as another cosmetic procedure during a luxury holiday in Bangkok ultimately ended in tragedy — and the Thai investigation is now focused on whether everything was done according to medical standards.
