A footballer has been jailed in UK for breaking an opposition player’s leg during a match.

Nathaniel James Kerr, 27(pictured), was last week jailed for a year over his two-footed tackle on Stuart Parsons during a match in August 2014 between Longsight-based AFC Goldcup Champions and Emigration.

The 30-year-old victim(pictured right his broken leg), needed a pin and plate in his ankle after it was broken in two places.STUART

Manchester FA has also announced that Kerr could be banned from football for five years after serving his jail term.

He was jailed last Wednesday after admitting grievous bodily harm at an earlier hearing.
