A 16-year-old Lekan Mustapha, in the employment of stealing kids with black magic has told an Akure Magistrate Court how alongside with his guardian, Zulum Yisa, they perpetrated the crime.
The pair are in the busines of using a ring laced with magical powers to kidnap children from various parts of Ondo State.
Before the Ondo Amotekun corps saw through their act and arrested them at Oka-Akoko area of the State, they have abducted nine children.
The charmed ring, which Mustapha used to beat his victims to make them unconscious is given to the teen suspect by his guardian, the court heard from the teenager himself.
He added that they travelled by foot from Ilorin, the Kwara State capital to Ondo for the abduction.
The case was adjourned till March 28, 2023.
