The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku, has expressed doubt about the ability of the judiciary to dispatch justice in his matter.
Atiku nurses grievances against the conduct and outcome of Saturday’s presidential election, which went the way of the All Progressives Congress, APC standard bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The latter was declared winner by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, much to the disagreement of the PDP candidate and his Labour Party and the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP counterparts, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso respectively.
The ex-vice president and the ex-governor of Anambra State both on Thursday at separate fora, threatened court action.
However, Atiku expressed distrust for the judiciary saying, “I took my boss the (then) President (Olusegun Obasanjo) to court eleven times from the trial court up to the Supreme Court.
“I swear, I never saw any judge, yet I got a judgement against a sitting President. Do you think it is possible today to do it? Let us tell ourselves the truth. So, I cannot say whether it is the same judiciary or not until I test them.”
