Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan, killer of football fan, Kolade Johnson, in Lagos has been remanded in prison custody on the orders of the Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court.

Olalekan, the trigger-happy cop attached to the Anti-Cultism Unit of the state police command shot dead Kolade Johnson at a football viewing centre at Onipetesi on Sunday.
He is on a three count charge bordering on discreditable conduct, unlawful and unnecessary exercise of authority and damage to clothing or other articles contrary to paragraph E (iii), Q (ii) and D (i) first schedule of the Police Act and Regulations, Cap 370 LFN 1990.
Lagos State police spokesman, Bala Èlkana, said in a statement that the already dismissed Inspector was arraigned in court on Friday adding that the judge ordered his remand in Kirikiri.
