Report said a Kidnapper has been arrested days after he acted some parts in the abduction of two herders from whom he and his gang collected N15m in ransom.
The report is published by Daily Trust, which said it earlier reported the abduction of the two victims, who are herders alongside a driver some few kilometer from Daku community in Gwagwalada area council on June, 9, 2025.
The victims were reportedly coming from Izom market in Niger state, where they had gone to sell their cows, when their abduction occurred.
The event that succeeded the herders’ kidnap was their release by their captors upon payment of N15m ransom.
Nemesis however caught up with the kidnappers on Saturday June 21, 2025, as one of their victims ran into a member of the kidnap gang at Izom cattle market, which led to his arrest, the publication wrote.
“He has already confessed to be a member of the kidnap gang as he is still in custody, while investigation is ongoing to trace other gang members,” it quoted its source as saying.
