Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan, will confer honourary doctorate degree on veteran Juju artiste, King Sunny Ade on Thursday.

A statement by the school’s Director of Public Affairs and Communication, Dr Ayobami Owolabi, said along with graduands who will be conferred with diploma and degrees, the 70-year-old artiste is among a long list of dignitaries that on Thursday during the week-long ninth convocation doctorate degrees will be conferred on.
In the list is former dean of the faculty of Administration at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, and a lead public sector management specialist at World Bank, Ladipo Adamolekun.
Adamolekun according to the statement, will on Wednesday deliver the convocation lecture, entitled: “The Idea of Nigeria: Two Challenges – Unity in Diversity and Prosperity.”
