Nollywood actress and businesswoman, Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal, has threatened to sue over 100 bloggers, vloggers and social media personalities for ₦50 million each over alleged defamation, libel and cyberbullying.

Those named in the legal notices include fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, her daughter, Priscilla, controversial gossip platform Gistlover, Tosin Silverdam Media Blog and several other online publishers and commentators.

The notices, dated October 3, 2026, reportedly gave the affected individuals seven days to remove disputed publications, issue public apologies and provide written undertakings not to repeat the alleged conduct.

Anjorin, popularly known as Lizzy Anjorin, issued the threats through her lawyers, O.A.U. Enahoro, Bayo Akinlade and A.U.E. Ogboi.

The legal team accused the recipients of publishing allegedly damaging content about the actress, her businesses and family, claiming that the publications exposed her to public ridicule and threatened her reputation and commercial interests.

Other names and platforms listed in the notices include Amebohotgist, PauseandponderTV, Alujo TV, Alaroye TV, TVCNewsNg, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Izzy Ogbeide, Miss Debby TV and Germany Boss Lady TV.

Also named are Esabod Tokunbo Aboderin, Akeem Akintola Olalekan Taoreed, Olu Olowogemo Harejan, Adewunmi Fatai, Olabanji Farms and Alvin Odibo, among other online personalities.

According to the lawyers, some of the recipients allegedly circulated false claims about Anjorin and made criminal allegations against her during live broadcasts without supporting police reports or court judgments.

They argued that the disputed material could damage public confidence in the actress’s businesses and cause lasting harm to her reputation.

The lawyers consequently demanded that the recipients delete the posts, videos, live broadcasts, clips and reposts complained of from their respective platforms.

They also insisted that any retractions and apologies should receive prominence comparable to that of the allegedly defamatory publications.

Beyond the proposed ₦50 million damages claims against each affected individual, the legal team threatened to seek court injunctions to prevent further publication of the disputed material and recover litigation costs.

The lawyers also indicated that they could petition relevant security agencies to investigate the alleged conduct and consider possible criminal proceedings where warranted.

The notices were reportedly sent to some recipients through Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, as well as by email and registered delivery methods.

It was not immediately clear whether any of the recipients had complied with the demands or whether Anjorin had commenced court proceedings over the matter.

The allegations in the notices have not been established by a court, and the issuance of the legal demands does not in itself establish liability on the part of any recipient.
