David Jeffers, the man in the UK, who almost killed his lover when he accidentally fired a gun he inserted into her vagina to fulfill her sexual desires, has been jailed for ten years.
Jeffers, 47, had fled the scene, a hotel room in Manchester after the fantasy of his 46 year-old victim whose name was not disclosed for legal reason went catastrophically wrong.
Local reports said the victim had arranged and paid for him to stay with her at the hotel on January 30, and the pair consumed drink and drugs before engaging in the sexual activity that turned awry.
Reports said in the middle of the act, Jeffers inserted the loaded shotgun, which he claims to have found in the toilet of the Wetherspoon’s pub at Leeds train station, into her vagina before accidentally pressing the trigger.
Amazingly the woman survived but has been left with life changing injuries to her bladder and female reproductive organs.
Charged with attempted murder, Jeffers had pleaded not guilty before a Manchester Crown Court, saying the victim had agreed to take part in the act as part of her own sexual fantasy.
He was however, found guilty by Judge John Potter on Friday, and sentenced to ten years in prison.
