Three persons have been arrested in connection with the death of a pastor at Cherubim and Seraphim, Mr. Omotayo Ezekiel Fajana.
Omotayo Ezekiel Fajana, a 71-year-old cleric, was found dead at a hotel in Akungba-Akoko in Ondo State.
The deceased had travelled to the town to attend a church programme at Ogo Orimolade C&S Church, Okerigbo where he was billed to be installed as the Head Prayer Warrior Father of a C&S Church when his death occurred few hours to the occasion.
The septugenarian church was found dead in the hotel he lodged, changing course of event.
Report says his loved ones including some church members are not ruling out foul play and on the strength of their complaints, the police have stepped in, and consequently arrested three persons.
It was gathered that the suspicion that he may have been murdered stemmed from the relocation of his remains from the hotel to a mortuary at neighbouring Ikare-Akoko before a formal medical certification of death was obtained.
Spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, DSP Jimoh Abayomi while confirming the incident said the matter was under investigation.
