A clergyman, Pastor Harrison Charles, has been arrested for snatching up to 75 married women from their husbands.

The pastor’s arrest was made public by Special Adviser to Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State on Media, Dr Ejimofor Opara who in a Facebook post said Harrison’s apprehension was in response to victims’ complaints.

According to Opara’s account, most of Harrison’s victims are his church members and they are accusing him of forcing them to swap wives while he’s fond of taking church members’ wives for himself.

Opara said the clergyman had been handed over to the police, adding that a joint investigation between the Anambra State Police Command and the state government had commenced.

“Pastor Harrison Charles, owner of Day Spring Assembly in Awada, Onitsha, was arrested by operatives of Agunechemba following a viral video containing several allegations against him.

“He is currently being investigated by the police in collaboration with the Anambra State Government.

“During his arrest, about 11 babies were found in his home. He claims to be the father of these eleven babies, stating they are from 11 of his wives.

“He also claims he does not know the number of wives he has married or the total number of children he has.

“While investigations continue, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Security, Mr Ken Emeakayi, has urged anyone with additional information to report it to the State Government via 08034182108,” Opara’s post reads.
