Persons living with kyphosis otherwise known as hunchback are being attacked by ritualists in Delta State, who desire their body parts for money ritual, a report has claimed.

The report by Tribune says in recent times, no fewer than two hunches have been harvested from individuals living with the medical condition at popular Kokori and environs in the state.
The wave of attack on persons living with the medical condition reportedly is causing panic in the community and other parts of the state.
It is said that not few of persons with hunchback have gone underground for fear of being killed by ritualists.
One Mr. Odiriverere, popularly known as Atinipa, according to the report was found lifeless on Tuesday morning with his hunch ripped off by his assailants.
Atinipa’s attack is said to be one of several others as the remains of another victim, simply identified as Queen, also suffered the same fate.
The report says Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta Police Command, Celestina Kalu, confirmed the wave of attacks on persons with hunchbacks, and promised that the police would unravel the perpetrators and bring them to book.
