The Ondo State Police Command has launched investigation into the murder of one Mr Alaba Abe, aka Excel.
Abe was one of the ward campaign coordinators of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and was actively involved in Saturday’s All Progressives Congress governorship primary in Ondo, which Aiyedatiwa won.
The following Saturday he met his death at the hands of gunmen in the evening in Supare Akoko, Akoko South-West Area of the state
A Returning Officer for the APC’s primary at Ward 10 in the the just-concluded election, he was gruesomely murdered around 9 pm in front of his house at Supare Akoko.
The police has cast its investigative net in search of the perpetrators.
This is according to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, who told Punchng, “The command is aware of the incident at Supare; investigation is ongoing to unravel all that happened.”
