Popular social media influencer, Bello Habib Galadanci, better known as Dan Bello, was on Saturday at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport arrested.
Dan Bello is reputed for throwing jibes couched in satire at President Bola Tinubu, the incumbent administration and the President’s family members mostly by cartoons imputing several unprintable things to them.
As per report, operatives of the Department of State Services made his arrest at the airport in full view of passengers and airport officials with a stir ensuing from the ambush.
He was said to have arrived Kano from China when his arrest took place.
“It was DSS operatives that took him but released him after some minutes. Maybe they received another order that overrode the initial one. But he is now free and doing well,” his associate who spoke anonymously said.
