Nigerian fashion entrepreneur and style boss Kayode Alfred, is set to shake up the country’s luxury fashion industry with the opening of a new flagship store of Aristocrat Clothing in Lagos.
The fashion firm is positioning the new outlet as a bold statement that Nigerian-made fashion can compete with—and lead—the global luxury market.
The grand opening is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Ogunusi, Ojodu, Lagos, with Alfred describing the new store as more than just another fashion outlet.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, the Ojodu flagship represents a deliberate move away from dependence on imported labels towards premium, locally crafted fashion designed to meet international standards.
Alfred said the store was created to combine sharp tailoring, sophistication and individuality, targeting modern Nigerian men and women who want luxury rooted in their identity.
He added that Aristocrat Clothing was determined to move the industry beyond mass-produced fashion and establish bespoke Nigerian luxury as a force to be reckoned with globally.
The launch comes amid growing interest in premium homegrown fashion, with more Nigerian consumers turning to local designers and brands for high-end clothing.
“Style has always been more than what one wears. It is an expression of identity, confidence and character,” Alfred said.
He described the new outlet as the new home of the Aristocrat experience, insisting that Nigerian brands have what it takes to take the lead in the luxury fashion space.
With the opening of the Ojodu flagship, Alfred said Aristocrat Clothing was ready to claim its place in Nigeria’s fast-evolving luxury market while continuing to promote class, confidence and impeccable style.
