Three persons have reportedly died after a three-storey building collapsed on Tuesday in Ajuwon, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The building caved in at about 2 p.m. during a heavy downpour, trapping several occupants beneath the rubble.

Rescue operations were ongoing at the scene as emergency responders, assisted by residents, worked frantically to pull survivors from the debris.

The exact number of people trapped remained unclear at the time of filing this report.

A viral video from the scene showed victims being rescued from the collapsed structure, while distraught onlookers wailed as the operation continued.
