President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja via a British Airways flight in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Aisha had been out of the country for three months fuelling speculation of rift between the first couple which went overdrive last Friday with rumour spreading like wildfire that Buhari was picking a second wife in the person of Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster and Management, Sadiya Umar Farouq.
On her return, the first lady denied any rancour between them and offered explanation for her long absence in the country in an interview she granted NTA.
According to her, she was in the United Kingdom to see her doctor and be with her children, adding that she has always travelled out for vacation for six weeks every year.
